Silly question! Fish fingers...

Okay my apologies in advance I know this is a very silly question.. Do you add oil to fish fingers when cooking it in the oven?

usually I fry them in oil but I thought I'd trying cooking them in the oven today

    You don't have to. If you're concerned they'll stick you can put them on a piece of parchment paper or a silpat

    Nope. I've always cooked them in the oven -- usually on parchment paper or foil but that's because my pans are so old and stained.

    It never occurred to me to cook them in oil especially in the oven. They bake in the oven, not fry.
