Why can't we copy a food from the database and put it into our own list or at least edit the name. For example, if I want pepper jack cheese, I want to look for "Cheese, Pepper jack", not brand name and then cheese type and then FINALLY cheese. Then all the cheeses I use would all be in the same place alphabetically. I love this site, but finding the foods I want in the database takes FOREVER!!!!!! For example today, I wanted to put in horse radish cheese and if I had listed it, it would be "Cheese, Horse Radish", but after searching I FINALLY found "Generic’s – Cheese Horse Radish". When I am looking for a cheese, "g" isn't where I am going to look.

I completely agree. I wish there was a way that you could click "add to my Foods" then you could edit the name of it in My Foods and organize the foods they way we want. I usually end up just adding all the nutritional information in so I have it named the way I want.0

Interesting. You should probably post your thoughts in suggestions and feedback instead of chit chat.
When I search for cheese I would put in the specific type of cheese first to find an entry if I were not scanning a bar code. I would type in cheddar cheese or pepperjack cheese and get a ton of entries. When I look at my frequently used foods later I would be looking for cheddar or pepperjack not cheese. I have had little trouble finding what I want.
