Starting out...Becks Diet Solution combined w/healthy eating active living

Today is day 1. I am starving! I am staying at 1200 calories and worked out a lot today! Well, 25 minutes elliptical and 20 on the bike. Plus I cleaned house all day... vacuuming and scrubbing hard wood floors. Trying a protein shake for a snack to see if it eases my hunger pains.
Anyone else do Becks Diet Solution?

    I'm reading The Diet Beck Solution, it has a lot of great stuff, but I don't buy everything she says.

    I think it's important that you set yourself up for success. If you truly are starving, and not just not used to not eating all the time, 1200 may be too little food for you, and you'll overeat later. Your calorie need, as well as your maximum rate of fat loss, depends on your height and weight. Even though MFP is the best, it's a bit tricky and clunky in some places, and this is one of those places - it doesn't tell you this clearly when you set up your account/goal. So, what's your height and weight?
