Back on here after a break

Hi, I started on MFP about 3 years ago (I think) and have been back here from time to time. I need motivation before the summer, to get back to logging again and making better progress.
I have looked at various groups and various motivational discussions etc but can't seem to find a good fit for me. All the discussions using lbs and inches are sending me crazy because I keep having to convert all the time, so anyone out there who uses kg and cms.
Also, as you may be able to tell I'm in the southern hemisphere hence my reference to "before the summer", it's lovely to read about your summer fitness and holidays but I'm still stuck in winter (well can't complain I'm in Sydney and we all know it hasn't been too bad).
Also, I'm quite short, but not that heavy (but know I need to loose to a few kgs). Is there anyone else in a similar situation?
Would be nice to hear of anyone in a similar situation who is looking for motivation.
