Watching Rachel right now. Two guests had great tips! First, when you do something really good for your weight loss, such as stay under calories, resist a particular temptation, put a dollar in your reward jar. At the end of the month, use the money to reward yourself with a non-food treat. One guy weighed a purchased muffin that said it was 5 oz. It actually weighed 5.9 oz, so you really have to weigh everything! Third, put your salad and vegetables on a light, bright plate. It will make you in a good mood, so you will want more. Put late night snacks, or high calorie foods on a dark plate. You won't be excited about eating more.

Good tricks, though the only one I use is the reward piece (customized for my budget, of course). Eating off of smaller dishes (plates and bowls) goes a long way toward feeling more like you've eaten to satiety as well...useful for those of us who were taught to clean the plate!0
