Dumbbells weights

Hello,
I've been doing Strong Curves since last week and realized today I'm not actually sure what weight I should be logging when working with dumbbells. Is the weight on the dumbbell the weight of the single dumbbell or the pair together? If I am doing dumbbell bench press with 15 pound dumbbells should I log 15 pounds or 30?

Log your total weight in the dumbbells or (2)xlbs. Whichever makes the most sense to you.1

When I log an exercise with dumbbell I just DB as in DB bench press1

The weight is on the dumbbell, if you use one it would be 15 lbs, 2 would be 30 lbs.1

They key is to track so you are progressing with time, so doesn't really matter how you write it.
When I use dumbbells I log with a "x2".. so for ex. 15x2. But you can write total weight or "DB 30lbs" up to you .. just keep consistent so you know what you did when you go back to it.

I use the weight of one. I say I'm benching "35s".1

I log the weight of one DB. Its up to you, just be consistent. I add "sa" if doing single arm.1

" Is the weight on the dumbbell the weight of the single dumbbell or the pair together?" The weight listed on a dumbbell is the weight for THAT ONE single dumbbell. A dumbbell that has 35 written on it weights 35 pounds by itself. How you log it for your records is completely up to you as long as you are consistent.I log the weight of one DB. Its up to you, just be consistent. I add "sa" if doing single arm.
" If I am doing dumbbell bench press with 15 pound dumbbells should I log 15 pounds or 30? " You are benching 30#'s. Again, how you log it for your records, so you can keep track of your progress is up to you just be consistent.

Its your log, write it so it makes sense to you.
But the way mine look for anything would be like this
Bench: 5X5X315 (Meaning barbell bench, 5 sets, 5 reps, 315 weight)
DB Incline: 3X8X100 (meaning three sets of 8 at 100lbs for EACH dumbbell)0
