Congrats Man! So glad to hear it.
As for results, if you're concerned about the scale, don't be discouraged. For the first 5 weeks I didn't lose more than about 3 or 4 pounds, but my clothes started to fit better. But around Week 6, the weight started falling off in chunks. I started in mid-May at 194 lbs. I weighed in yesterday at 168. And I am definitely eating!
Every week I hit a goal that didn't involve a scale though. First handstand push-up. First unbroken Pull-up set in a WOD. PR, after PR, after PR. Keep focused on what you are getting accomplished and not what you aren't. Just get better everyday.
Keep us posted!

How often do you do crossfit?0 -
Nothing set in stone. Did three classes last week. Might do two this week because of the holiday.0

@Morgaen73
From May to July 3 days a week, now...
I take 4 classes a week, and do two open gyms on weekends, where I work on two lifts/gymnastic movements each day followed by a 30ish minute EMOM.
Here's an example of last Saturdays Open Gym:
3-3-3-3-3 Overhead Squat
4 Sets Max Ring Dips
EMOM 28:
1- 2x Bear Complex @115
2- 1 Rope Climb
3- 25 Double Unders
4- 5 L Pull-ups
To be fair, this is not my first foray into Crossfit. I was a member from for two years until Dec of 2012, but I came up with a bunch of excuses and stopped going.0 -
@MilesAddie that is awesome.
Started my second week. Coming from a pure lifting background (where I considered cardio the Devil's work lol) this is a real challenge for me but I'm loving it. I'm still settling in but from next week I'll be doing 2 crossfit basics session, one lifting basics session (at the box), 3 weights session (at the gym) and 1 functional training session with my personal trainer.
Hopefully that will kick my bodies *kitten* into changing lol I'm still on the basics program at the box so I haven't really set goals.
You are back though so awesome
