For losing weight it's all about being in a Caloric Deficit. Period.

    Cool. For some people, it helps keep them in a calorie deficit. I don't think anyone could credibly claim that you would lose weight doing IF if you weren't in a calorie deficit, that's just nonsensical.

    Cool story. "Calorie deficit" isn't a method, though. It's the solution to a math problem.

    It was initially stating that IF hadn't worked for the OP - a calorie deficit was needed.
