It's hard being a tall lifter...

I'm 6'5" and today my reality was shattered when I came across a 6'5" natty body builder on YouTube. I realized I'll always have that lanky look no matter how much muscle I put on since muscles are more stretched, and it will always be harder to lift as much as my shorter companions. Realistically, I'll probably always be lifting and doing 20% less than they can do. All because of my height and length of my appendages. On one hand, I'm glad I finally have realistic expectations, but on the other, I almost want to say 'why bother'.
Here are pics for comparison. A 6'5" guy and a 5'10" guy.

I'm tall like you, 6'6", and decided this past April to pursue bodybuilding. Just consider this, short muscular guys are a dime a dozen, but tall muscular guys are not. It is much more impressive to be tall and muscular. Notice how much exposed bicep the tall guy has, short guys with short arms can't compare.
Work to become the best version of you, that's all that matters.0 -
Different bodies will have different looks. There's nothing wrong with that.
I agree with UKWildcatDave - work with what you have.0
