polyunsaturated and monounsaturated fats are best eg olive oil. Actually food cholesterol doesn't have as big an impact as your natural body cholesterol, so blame your genes! As a rough guide, if it's solid at room temperature it's likely to be bad.0

There is no good or bad dietary cholesterol, it's just cholesterol, the liver then decides based on lifestyle and genetics which type of lipoproteins it's going to produce and in what size and it what quantity.
Good fats generally are the ones that come naturally in the foods you eat. As far as added fats and oils are concerned I generally consume unrefined as in olive oil, avocado oil, butter, duck fat, coconut oil and stay as far as I can away from refined polyunsaturated as I can................these oils are extremely susceptible to oxidation and free radical production in the body. And contrary to popular belief saturated fat is not bad for us, it actually extremely stable and not a foreign substance to stay clear of.0
