I love food too! Everyone loves food. But you gotta find a balance of how much you love food vs how much you love being a healthier version of yourself. Many people on here advocate eating all the foods you love, just staying within a calorie limit. If that's something you're disciplined enough to do, great! Most people aren't or they wouldn't be here. I can't have 1 piece of chocolate, then walk away. If you hand me a plate of food, I will eat it all, EVERY time.
So that leaves food choice, at least for me. I chose keto because it fits with the foods I love the most, and eliminates the foods I miss the least. Maybe I'm lucky, but I was able to lose all the weight I had originally planned and hit goal, without wanting to kill anyone. I spent the past five weeks off Keto, after all I was at goal. At first it seemed ok, then I found myself snacking more, and more, and the plate got bigger. In a months time I had gained 7lbs. Set my calorie goal, time to get back on track. I literally spent the past week starving. Did I lose weight? You bet! But I was miserable and nobody wanted to be around me. Short story long, just started back on Keto, and within 24 hours, I haven't been hungry, and able to stay at my calorie goal without any innocent bystanders getting harmed. But that's just me lol!
As far as exercise, people here will tell you you don't need it to lose weight and they're right, but exercise sure makes it happen a lot easier and quicker. I'm sorry, but you won't find sympathy from me there. We have 3 kids, a dog and a cat, my partner works 12 hr shifts, and I work 10. During the summer months, we leave town every days off and make the 4 hour drive to our camp in the middle of nowhere, then drive all the way back 2 days later. And we still do our workouts six days a week. No time isn't a reason, it's an excuse.
find a meal plan you feel you can stick to, whatever it is. Find workouts you are most likely to do often, and do them. Go to a gym if that's your thing. It's not ours, but I guarantee you can work out just as effectively at home, and it takes less time. Whatever you think you'll stick to, do that!6 -

I so agree with you, it could be me writing it. I sure don't do this everytime I eat, but sometimes I find it helps to try to really savor your bites. Eat small bites and really focus on them. Anyways, I wish you success!2
