Desk chair recommendations?

Since I've gotten more active I've been noticing a bit of pain in my lower back above my left hip that I think is caused by me sitting all day and leaning on the left arm rest. My problem is I feel like all the desk chairs sit too far back. I want to be able to sit back in the chair without feeling like I'm reclining. So, I put a pillow back there, but that throws my balance of a bit and leads to me leaning to the side all the time. Does anyone know of a comfortable desk chair that you can sit back in and still be sitting fairly straight. I hate feeling like I'm reclining.

There's a whole slew of ergonomic office chairs out there. Maybe you can stop by a store and try some out. They can get a little pricey, but I have a feeling you always pay your debts.

Maybe going to an office supply store would help so you can test out the chairs and see what works for you?

I tend to move around in my chair a lot! I am thinking of a standing desk might be what I need. Agree with going to an office supply store to try some out!!

I've tried out some chairs at office supply stores around me, but they all have the same leaning back problem.

Maybe I'm the only person who doesn't like reclining.

I tried the yoga ball chair once, but it didn't get along well with my cat..

OP, they also have inserts for desk chairs.

Most office chairs can be fixed so they do not recline.

when I was working I ordered a new chair and became enamored with the chair model in the catalog.

    better task chairs are lockable

look at Herman Miller, Steelcase or Knoll

I recently bought two Knoll chairs which were gently used.

I've also used Herman Miller's Equa and Aeron Chairs in the past; they're great.
