Pelvic Organ Prolapse

Does anyone have any advice for exercise with POP? I have both a cystocele and rectocele. I really want to get some healthy movement and start losing weight. But I'm scared to. My doctor told me I don't need physio. But I beg to differ. But I need a referral from her for the government funded physio.
Anyway, does anyone have any exercise video options or gym workout options?

You can try the Hab-it DVD. It was designed by a physical therapist who suffers from prolapse herself. She had a web site which is really informative and you can also get it on Amazon. It consist of several workouts for those with prolapse.1

Here is a pretty good article with exercise suggestions. Is there a way you can get a second opinion on physio?0 -
- get another doctor to refer you
- pay for private if you can1 -
Get a second opinion and a referral for a physical therapist trained in POP.0
