For those of you looking for a cheap source of protein powder, Costco is currently selling 6# bags of Muscle Milk Cytosport Whey Protein for just $30/bag (25%off) in vanilla or chocolate.
Each bag contains 80 servings and each serving contains 27g of protein. That works out to just 37.5 cents/serving, 1.39 cents/gram or $5/#.
Protein powder doesn't get any cheaper than this. I just bought 4 bags (24#) in chocolate to stock up; the limit is 10. This is cheaper than the 11# bag of MyProtein that I'm still working on. Thinking of buying more.
I've bought/used chocolate b4 and it tastes fine to me mixed w/soymilk. Have never tried vanilla.
Sale ends on 8/27 if you can't find at your local Costco or just aren't near one, you can buy it online for this price. You'll probably have to pay shipping which will reduce the savings but it's still worth the price.
Get it while you can.
BTW: Just for the record, I am not an employee, shareholder or in any way affiliated w/Costco other than as a customer/member.

I'm waiting for ON Gold Standard to go on sale to get a membership. On sale it's .57/serving, but I love the taste best. They seem to go on sale once a year; so no need to overbuy.
For membership, look at groupon or living social for possible discounts (rare, but patience can pay off).0 -
My favorite is the Combat at Costco. Mixed sources.0

Everyone has their "favorites." I just use Cytosport because it's the best value and tastes ok.
I don't go to Costco that often and never saw Cytosport on sale b4, although it prior sales probably have been run b4.0
