does it matter what you eat after a workout? i tried googling it but theres so many different answers. i eat 2 hrs before a workout. then i burn about 200 calories per workout. i usually eats fruits after and then go to bed. should i just not eat after? is there a difference?

    No. Unless you are an elite athlete, training for your sport, food timing matters not.

    If your general food intake supports your fitness goals, you should be ok. If you are doing lots of lifting and getting only the minimum RDA of protein, additional protein would be advisable (but the timing does not matter).

    Since you are only burning 200 calories what you eat doesn't matter.

    Yeah, nothing to worry about at all unless you start training at an elite level. When you're just doing a normal workout, it really matters not.

    As long as you are not exceeding your calorie goals, don't have a medical issue (such as diabetes) where what you eat at anytime of day has an impact, and are not an athlete trying to reach or maintain elite levels of performance, then no. It doesn't matter what you eat after your workout.
