Hi there, can anyone tell me the main difference between Ideal Protein and eating Keto? I'm on day 3 of Ideal Protein and have been researching Keto and it seems like there is a lot more fat intake with Keto? I'm assuming the weight will drop quicker with IP but wondering if I could achieve the same results with Keto? I have a lot of weight to lose min 70lbs.

I don't know what Ideal Protein is. A ketogenic diet is one where your carbohyfrate intake is less than 20-50g a day. Protein is usually moderate, often 20-25%, but it can be higher or lower. Fat is the rest, often 60-80%.

IIRC, IP is essentially a meal replacement program, where is more focused on high protien, and lower carbs/fats.

OP, in all reality, if you have equal calories (and protein) you will lose the same amount of weight. Macronutrient composition means very little when it comes to weight loss. It means more when you are talking general health, medical conditions, energy, and compliance.

Personally, I tend to gravitate towards moderate to high protein, moderate to high carbs and lower fats. Fats are expensive and don't impact my hunger. So it comes down to this; what diet can you sustain over time. Do you respond to restrictive or flexible diets? Personally, I cannot do restrictive diets and perform really well with flexibility.
