Judith Beck's book The Beck Diet Solution, also with a workbook, and the audio CD on Amazon. CBT works for weight loss. Talks about focus, writing down goals and reasons for losing and putting your reasons on index cards and reading them whenever you get a craving, keeping track of all you eat - in myfitnesspal here - perfect for that.

I've read Judith Becks book, they're really refreshing aren't they. There's a part in there where she says something along the lines of "if you fell down one step, you wouldn't say "oh well, I've ruined it now I might as well throw myself down the whole staircase now" and so we shouldn't quit like we do when we slip up with food." That always makes me laugh, just seems to have stuck with me.

She's totally right about goal setting too. I can't be doing with lots of bits of paper everywhere though, I did mine in excel spreadsheet ha. I wish they'd bring out an iPhone App!

She says to write down your reasons for losing on 3 x 5 index card or smaller. I think that is easier. I also made myself post it notes and stuck them on the fridge, cabinet, etc. My computer screen would be a good place too.
