Timestamp Pre- or Post-Meal?

I’m not sure what difference it makes, but this has been subtly bothering me since Timestamps were added: should I be recording the time I start my meal? Or the time I’ve finished it? Which will be most useful for determining the metabolic effects of what I’ve been eating?

    Food doesn't have enough metabolic effect for it to matter....

    The whole metabolic thing is squirrelly, because your metabolism can change depending on what you're doinh, what you ate, how you're feeling.

    It varies too much to keep track of.
    Just count calories

    I turned it off right away, it takes up too much room in my log and I'm not sure what value the information adds.

    Is this a new thing? Or are we talking about changing meal names to times?
