Keto question

Ok so I've lost almost 190 pounds so far I had lost 250 but I gained weight having my daughter. In the past 5 months I have lost 50 pounds with keto/low carb. I had no idea you were allowed a cheat day so I never really had one. Now that I'm plateauing and not being able to get out of the 210's I'm afraid to eat anything with more than 6 carbs in it. I'm afraid to cheat because I had something with a bit of carbs in it one day and gained like 3 pounds in one day. I'm afraid to do a cheat day/meal or eat carbs but I'm so scared I'm stuck in a rut. I don't want to put on any weight and I'm on Glyburide for my blood sugar (I got off insulin yay!) but it's side effects are weight gain which hasn't happened to me yet but I think it's because I'm staying low carb. Does anyone have any tips/advice for me? I'm not saying I want to eat a huge amount of carbs every day but I'm scared to death to eat any bread/rice at all for fear I'm going to explode in weight gain. Anyway thanks for the advice in advance.

You may have to take special care because of your medical issues, but calories is still the only thing that counts for fat loss/gain. Water weight comes and goes. If you're really really scared and can't calm down, after this and probably others's replies, please ask your doctor to explain it for you.1

If you are low carb to address T2D, I would not have much of a cheat. It will raise your BG levels and because you have been LCHF for so long it may even rise more than expected. TBH, I would skip cheats like bread and rice and maybe save it for a holiday meal (within reason) and a small treat of something you love but have rarely. Probably not bread or rice unless you love it like I love a decadent dessert.
If you want to cheat, I would cheat with a lower carb cheat. Have 20g carb meal, and then test and test to see how you do with it. I like cheats too but there are some foods that send my BG skywards.
If you do eat more carbs, you probably will regain some temporary water weight. It won't last more than a few days once you are back on plan. It is just water and not fat so try not to let it bother you. It WILL go away again.
And congrats on getting off insulin! That's fantastic!1
