Favorite recipes of 5 ingredients or less
Hi all! I'm just getting into cooking as I'm on my weight loss journey and would love to know people's favorite recipes in 5 ingredients or less. Some of the ones I've discovered so far include:
- overnight oats: 1 cup cashew milk, 1/2 cup oats, 1 banana, pinch of salt
- Banana fritter mini muffins: 4 tbsp egg whites, 1 tsp baking powder, 1 pkg sugar free apple cinnamon instant oatmeal, 1 banana. Divide into 6 muffins. Bake at 350 for 50 min.
- Shrimp tostadas: toast a low carb tortilla. Divide into four pieces. Mix coleslaw mix with southwest dressing. Put mix on each tortilla. Grill shrimp with garlic, cumin, red chili powder, salt and pepper. Top each tortilla/salad with 2 extra large shrimp.
I've also learned how to make an egg white omelette and black bean burrito although some would argue that's not really "cooking".

I really love sheet pans meals. You cook everything on a foil lined baking sheet in the oven. I do chicken fajitas the most. https://youtube.com/watch?v=Qp8Tc4ncJgI
