Hi there,
I've been using MFP on and off for a few years. I wanted to make an effort to find more people who can align with the struggles of my lifestyle change. Lately, I've been really good about what I eat and working out but I'm still just starting a workout piece. I hate working out but I want the benefit obviously haha. I'm hoping to meet/discuss with anyone else on this quest of sorts!
I'm still a little scared of posting a photo or anything but maybe in time. Full body pics freak me out, they're discouraging because I feel like I see one thing in the mirror and something far different in a photo
Anywho.... long intro aside:

The Good

Anywho.... long intro aside:
The Bad
- Last year I hit my all-time high for weight near the end of the year (just before the holidays, what timing).
- Last year I also found out I have hypothyroidism which might not be much, but did contribute to some of my weight gain
- This year I found out I have a non-celiac gluten sensitivity, which also contributed to some weight gain because my body was having trouble digesting.
- I was so embarrassed each time I started MFP again seeing how much weight I'd gained, I kept erasing them. I kind of wish I left them so I had a better idea of where I've been.
The Good
- Since all of the health troubleshooting around gluten, I've stopped eating it (well, obviously I guess) and I feel so much better, but also, I started really dropping weight!
- I do remember the highest number I've seen on the scale (burned in my brain) and since then (just under a year) I've lost 45 lbs!
- My pants/shirts are getting looser!
- I joined this forum and I'm eager to meet others!
