Event (Mud run) week

So I know most of the advice I'm going to get here is "it depends," but I'd still like others feedback on what they have done.
I have been actively training for a 10k in Nov. I just finished week 11, day 1 of couch to 10k last night. Now, the issue comes that I have a few events scheduled between now and then. I am doing the Warrior Dash w friends on Saturday and I have the Insane Inflatables run w my stepson in Oct. Besides ensuring that I don't do a 10 mile hike or anything on Friday, I'm thinking I prob don't have to change much this week. I am at a point that I recover pretty quickly from my workouts. I'm not getting sore from my runs anymore. I can push with weights and feel it the next day, but I also know my limit. I'm not concerned about a time this weekend. It's not competitive. I just don't feel like I need to back off like I will prior to my 10k or anything.
Thoughts?!

I think you'd be fine - I would probably not do anything on Friday or if you do anything keep it light/easy and the make sure you stretch/keep it light the day after (easy walk, swim etc)0

You're fine. Sounds like you know your body well enough to know what and when you need a break.
You might not even need a huge taper before the 10k itself. I'm not sure of your distances now but I think you'll find that 6 miles is a pretty reasonable distance that doesn't beat you up too much. It's true what they say...if you can run 4, you can run 6. If anything, just keep your runs really easy the week before, don't do a long run, and give yourself a break for the two days prior.
