Hi everyone, I'm trying to lose weight before a surgery. My doctors adviced that the best weight for me to be at is 110lbs or about 50kg. I'll be happy with being stable at 115lbs (52kg). At the moment I'm about 140lbs (63.5kg), so I've got a ways to go.

I would love some support on this journey.

I don't add any refined sugar, and haven't for years, so that's a trick that won't work for me.

Here for the long haul

It's not the refined sugar that's the problem... it's eating more than we burn consistently.

Welcome and all the best  log your food accurately, move more and you will lose.

1-1.5lb per week is plenty for you to aim for and then as you get closer to goal 0.5 per week. Think of this as a marathon, not a sprint to the finish line.
