Protein Shake.... lol. True Story.
To be honest though, I also have a mid-morning snack everyday.0 -
I have to second the protein shake. I am not a morning person and without that I would skip breakfast completely and binge by lunch.0
-
Protein shake!!! Protein powder....almond milk...banana and frozen strawberries....;)0
-
2 serving John Mcain Steel cut oats and mix in one serving Fage 2 percent yogurt. My carbs and protein. I dont eat till 10 or 11 then i actually eat lunch around 3.0

Oatmeal cooked in almond milk. I will never tire of it.0

I eat the same thing most days and I love it. I eat one slice of toasted Milton's whole grain bread and two over medium eggs on top...if I want to "fancy" it up I add avocado. If I am watching my bread intake, then I have the same two eggs with pico de gallo (and maybe some avocado). Simple and easy...0

I have grape nuts cereal with half a banana on top, that fills me from 6:30 til about 10 when I have my morning snack (fruit, oatmeal or a granola bar), then I eat lunch around 12. If I don't eat something every 2-3 hours I usually overeat at meal times.0

While I wouldn't say it's my favorite, I have vanilla yogurt mixed into a bowl of corn flakes and some water as my first meal of almost every day. On days when my schedule is less rigid, I have a toasted bagel and cream cheese. That's really more to my liking.0

I have porridge every morning, I never tire of it! Microwave for 2 mins and voila!0
-
Bagel and cream cheese used to be my go to move. But my body likes to gain about 5 pounds with every bagel! Breakfast is important to me on days when I have to wake up.
I wake up for work at about 7. And I get to work at 7:30. I HAVE to eat breakfast or I'll get naseaus. (Is that weird?)
On weekends, I normally sleep through breakfast. Sleep is my number one priority.. lol.
I wind up having a not very healthy breakfast, as you can see in my log today. I made this post thinking I might find something healthier.. or at least something smaller with a mid morning snack.. i saw a lot of those posts..
it shouldnt be this hard! :grumble: lol0 -
Favorite: cheese omelet.0

BEST EVER. Overnight Oats.
Super easy & yummy. Literally takes a few minutes to prepare, throw in the fridge and grab on your way out the door in the morning. You eat it cold so its a great summer breakfast. Also, you can do whatever you want with it... get creative. But here is how I do mine...
1/2 Cup Quick Oats
1/2 Cup Un-sweet almond milk vanilla
1/4 Cup Greek Vanilla Yogurt
1 banana chopped into bits
1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
Handful of chopped walnuts
Combine in a jar, I shake mine up to mix ingredients (once it sets its a little hard to mix) and refrigerate overnight.
For variations add different fruits or even cocoa powder for a chocolate version. I also sometimes use peanut butter or top it off with chia seeds.0 -
i put whiskey in my coffee,. i can go forever.0

Wowzers....sounds delicious!!0 -
Typically, if I'm at work, oats with raisins or a banana, almond milk. A mid morning snack of pretzel nibbles. Maybe some cantaloupe. If I'm home, a boiled egg, whole wheat toast with olive oil, grapefruit juice and broiled tomato0
-
Protein shake. Get up at 430 and not ready to eat until 10 or so, so that's as close as I'm getting to breakfast these days.0
-

Fresh fruit topped with plain greek yogurt (honey drizzle optional) and nutty granola.0
-
Hard boiled eggs or just some toast with peanut butter0
-
Syntrax Matrix protein powder, 2% milk, and either some berries or PB2. I'm not a morning person and either wouldn't eat anything or go back to my candy bar and soda. Usually don't get hungry for 3-3.5 hours.0

Egg white omelette w/ 2 egg whites; 1 slice Am cheese; 3 slices turkey; 1/4-1/2 c caramelized onions; sprinkled with some cajun seasoning (Tony's); and sometimes with a little fresh spinach tossed in... YUM-O0

I rotate 3:
Vanilla greek yogurt mixed with PB2 (powdered peanut butter) and 2 Tbl. Grapenuts cereal
Lemon yogurt mixed with raspberries, sliced almonds, and Kashi Go Lean (original) cereal
Steel cut oats made with PB2 and sweetened with maple syrup0 -
Baked Oatmeal Cakes (from http://chocolatecoveredkatie.com/)
• 1/2 cup oats
• 1-2 Tablespoons Sweetener (Optional) (Sugar, Splenda, Honey, Maple Syrup)
• 1/4 cup unsweetened applesauce
• 1/4 cup Liquid (milk, creamer, juice, or water)
• Dried fruits and nuts ( add whatever you like)
• 1 – 3 Tablespoon Seasonings (Cinnamon, nutmeg, ect.)
• Bonus: 1-2 Table spoons of “nut” butter or oil for a different texture or flavor.
• Salt! To taste usually a small pinch per ½ cup oats.
Preheat oven to 365 degrees. Combine dry ingredients, then add wet. Pour into a small baking
vessel. Loaf pan, Ramekins, Cupcake pan. Cupcake pans only hold ¼ cup of the mixture so you
get 2 for 1 serving.
Cook for 20 minutes, or until firm. Finally, set your oven to “high broil” for 3 more minutes, or
until desired crispiness is reached (or simply just bake longer, but broiling gives it a nice crust).
1 serving made any which way is about 180 calories. You may need to adjust based on what you
have added.0 -
Either greek yogurt and fruit or oatmeal and fruit.0
-
Breakfast is my fave so I am always rotating several things-
Over easy egg on dry wheat toast with coffee
Steel cut oats with cane sugar and cinnamon, coffee
Shakeology variation, coffee
Traditional old fashioned oatmeal with brown sugar, coffee
Wheat toast with almond butter or peanut butter and a fruit, coffee
Protein pancakes with maple syrup, coffee
SO MANY AMAZING THINGS YOU CAN HAVE FOR BREAKFAST. Lol.
But yeah. I usually have a mid morning snack too. Because foodeatingfoodeating.0 -

Bran Flakes cereal with 1% milk and 0% yogurt on the side.
I've found that even if I eat this breakfast really early in the morning, it still keeps me completely full and energetic until mid-afternoon, which is when I usually have my lunch.0 -
It's not awesomely delicious, but a Luna bar and a cup of coffee is pretty good! The only flavor I don't like is lemon.0
