Losing weight

Hello everyone. I am trying to lose weight and I am not one to use weights. If I run on the treadmill and use the eliptical will I still be able to lose weight? I know people saying that you should do cardiovascular one day and then lift the next but I really am not a fan of that.

You lose weight by eating less than you burn over the entire day. Exercise isn't even necessary for that. However, doing some form of strength or resistance training (even body weight exercises if you don't want to lift) will help you out in the long run, as it will help you preserve your muscles as you lose.2
