Take some every morning! It's not the most tasty but it can sure kick start you metabolism!

No, no it can't. Sorry. It really doesn't kickstart your metabolism, boost fat loss, detox the body, or any of those other claims. It's just the flavour of the month miracle product.
does make good pulled pork though.22 -

Sorry to disappoint, but no it absolutely has no ability to kick start your metabolism. Only thing that might do that would be a defibrillator.13 -
If your metabolism needs a kickstart, you have a lot more problems than the taste of ACV.12

All these years and I was having to hand crank my metabolism. I coulda been kickstarting it!25

Isa Chandra Moskowitz uses it in her low-calorie coleslaw dressing and it's a good recipe. But doesn't do bubkis for metabolism.6

Thanks for the feed back everyone! That's unfortunate because I know I'm not the only one who thinks this way. It seems like weight loss is a religion now a days ! People believe in a lot of different things!18

It is a bit like that, really. People getting up and preaching different miracles, and usually collecting coins in the plate while they do it. Sorting through the hokum can be time consuming, but ultimately worth it. Science doesn't tend to care what people believe17 -
Since you strongly believe in it, it may have some minor psychological benefits for you despite the fact that science proves that all the claimed benefits are complete bunk. Google "placebo effect".
But in actual scientific/physiological terms, it does not "kickstart your metabolism" and it has no benefits for weight loss. It's not bad on fish and chips if you don't happen to have any malt vinegar handy, though!9 -
I'm on the ACV train...It's legit. It works--go for it!43

And yes weight loss is a religion for many. It's when you actually LISTEN TO SCIENCE is when you find out the truth.

What I don't get though, is why people don't want to own their successes - If I was buying into something and having success and someone told me that the thing wasn't what was causing the success, it was me, I'd be thrilled.11 -

There are people who still believe that the Earth is flat too, despite overwhelming, conclusive scientific evidence to the contrary. If you'd like a (scary) peek into their library of "research", have at it: https://www.tfes.org/library.php
Correlation being that the "science" supporting a flat Earth is about as sound as the "science" supporting any benefits of ACV for weight loss or metabolism.5 -

Most definitely. I'm not in a paid position for it, but a lot of people have seen my shapeshift, asked for help, and actually taken my advice. One guy in particular comes to mind for this conversation. He kept telling me what a great thing I had done for him.
"No dude, it was all you. You had to suffer the caloric restriction and hoist the weight."
"Yeah, but I couldn't have done it without you."
"No, you couldn't have done it without factual information, instead of the BS the media tries to sell you. I was just the conduit for said information. Nothing more."6 -

Try taking the MFP bus instead. Your teeth and esophagus will thank you, too.
The only thing I lost drinking ACV was my will to live.18 -
That awful taste first thing in the morning would be a shock - maybe that's the "kickstart" you feel.4
