Weight Scales - need recommendations

I'd like to invest in a reliable, accurate scale for home but I'm not sure if there is such a thing. My home scale, the scale at the gym, and the shipping (pallet) scale at work are all 1.5 - 2.0 different. I don't know if it is worth it to invest or just do what I've been doing--use the home scale in the morning regardless.

It's pretty common for scales to vary a pound or so from each other, so if your current scale has been internally consistent, I'd just stick with that. You get the most consistency if you don't move the scale, put it on a flat surface, and weigh yourself at the same time every day wearing the same clothes (or lack thereof). But even so, your weight is constantly fluctuating, so there's really not a single "most accurate" target the scale would be hitting.1

Yeah, 1-2 lbs is within the margin of error of any home scale. Stick with one and only one.1

Best bang for your buck is just to use the same scale all the time. It'll give you trends.1
