So a friend and I decided to just walk every day.
We have been doing this every day on our lunch break.
is this going to help? because I want to lose weight
and we do power walk. but i am just curious if this is fine for now?
Also watching what I eat.

Walking is an excellent way to begin exercising. When you are closer to goal, you will want to consider adding strength training.

That's mainly all I have been doing and it's worked so far. Log all your food, watch those calories and walk!

I disagree, strength training should be added immediately.

Walking is a great way to start.. I was told by my doctor and dietician to start with walking. I lost my first twenty pounds with just walking.. At about that point, I started biking because I felt like my body was ready for something a little more.. Now I am up to a 37 lb weight loss. Exercise now feels great. I am thinking at the 40 lb weight loss mark, of starting on the elliptical machine.. Just do what feels good for you right now and work up to the bigger stuff..
