Late Post-Baby Weight Loss

Hi all! I joined My Fitness Pal almost 40 days ago because it was time for a change. I didn't try to lose weight after having my baby two years ago (partially because I had a C-section and partially because someone told me I would never be the same again). After 40 days of trying I have lost almost 25 pounds, which makes me really happy, but because I have to juggle between work and family I don't exercise too much! Just looking for someone in the same boat as me to stay motivated. I still have another 45 pounds to go…

Hi and welcome.
You don't need a lot of exercise to lose weight, but it is good for you. Can you take junior out in the stroller for 45 minutes in the morning or evening? How about some YouTube exercise videos? Even a 15 minute walk on your lunch break is good. Walk up and down steps in your building, whatever. Totally not necessary to lose weight - all you need is a calorie deficit. You'll feel better and get more calories to eat, so it's worth it.
Anyway, you'll get there. 25 pounds in 40 days is pretty extreme. I hope you take the next 45 a bit slower. Under eating will catch up to you in the form of brittle nails, hair loss, anxiety, fatigue, depression, inability to concentrate, etc. Set your goals here to, "Lose 1 pound per week." If you exercise for an hour enter that into the Exercise page and eat a couple hundred more. That's how this site's calculators work.1 -

I gained and lost 3Xs with each of my kiddos! up over 210 with each one:(
Happy to report I am going on 2years, 80 pounds gone!!
