I have been here for quite some time on and off but this time I am here to take off the weight and keep it off. 9 weeks ago I suffered a heart attack in my sleep, luckily I woke up and was rushed to the hospital. It was determined that I needed to have heart bypass surgery. So 8 weeks ago I underwent open heart surgery. I am feeling so much better. Better then I have in a long time. I walk about an hour a day now and since the heart attack have lost 37 lbs. I still have about 80 lbs to go but I am determined to do it this time for me and my heart. My heart attack was a huge wake up call and a reminder of how precious life really is. Please feel free to add me.

So glad you are here to tell the tale, and certainly that would be the kick needed to get one's health on track. Just be sure to do it in a way you can sustain for life. Feel free to add me for encouragement/advise. I am here to maintain and mostly improve my fitness and maintain a mostly healthy diet.0
