I've got a bum right shoulder...I had to take quite a bit of time away from any overhead pressing or bench. The barbell bench still hurts, so I don't do it...I do ok with dumbbell bench as I have more control over my range of motion and how I hold the dumbbell...1

I have the same arm injury but I can bench and all that but I wonder if it is risky in a long run0
