The calories in canned tuna/oysters

Yesterday, I bought a can of smoked oysters in cottonseed oil. The nutrition information on the package states that it is 130 calories for the one can. That being said - is the oil accounted for in the nutritional information? I opened the can and there seemed to be quite a lot of oil.. I looked up the calories in cottonseed oil and one tablespoon alone yields 120 calories. There had to be around 5 or so tablespoons in this can. Not like I'm drinking the oil straight out of the can, but it made me curious if it's REALLY only 130 calories. Any thoughts?

Yes, there are usually two weights on the tin ... and I buy my tuna or chicken in springwater rather than oil.1

So 130 calories would be AFTER draining the oil? I buy tuna and chicken in water also but decided to try the smoked oysters in oil on a whim. It was decent, but never again!0

I love smoked oysters canned in olive oil. They make a great snack, but I do drain them first.0
