Does exercise help an older lady tighten up?

Hi all..I am on the other side of 6o and recently lost about 10 lbs..this makes me happy as I have been trying to lose for a long time..but I am not happy about the saggy, flabby skin I now have..ugh..I do cardio but am wondering what I can do to firm up?

I lost over 50 lbs. and started lifting weights at the age of 56. If I had not started lifting, I'm sure I would have had a lot of excess skin

^^^ This. I'm working my way through this book right now. My Dr told me everyone over the age of 50 needs to be lifting weights, but *especially* women.

    Smart Doc.

I'm 62. Lift weights. Progress to heavier weights. This is also good if you are losing bone mass. Which you are.

If "lifting weights" doesn't appeal to you, good power yoga classes and good Pilates classes would also go far toward your goals.

LIfting weights is terrific for many reasons, but weight training affects the muscles, not the skin. You can't possibly have much loose skin after losing only 10 lbs. Good job nonetheless.

Any strength training will do wonders.
This person is doing suspension/bodyweight exercises with something called TRX:
