about how much should I work out for to lose weight I eat like around 1600 calories

As little or as much as you want. MFP is set up for you to lose weight without exercise.2

If u just start out and have a lot of weight to loose, stict to a brisk walk in the morning on the empty stomach2

You really don't have to work out to lose weight. I've lost over a hundred pounds and incorporated walking into my day, litttle by little, until it balanced out with the calories I consume. I don't know your stats, but at 1600 calories, I think you should walk about 1-2 miles each day, in addition to your normal activities. That should keep you in weight loss mode.0
