Restart my loss

Me and my now husband started dieting for our wedding in July. We both lost about 2stone each and looked great!!
Well then it went wrong!!!!
Weve tried and tried to kick start the loss but we cant seem to kick that next stone......weve had some celebrations and parties and stuff and im guessing bbq season for massive foodies is harder than life itself!!! BUT were both desperate now!! I need to do this for my children!!! My future depends on this loss!!!

TIA x

So what went wrong last time? What have you been doing to "kickstart" your loss?

So you went off track, definitely ate more than planned and stopped losing weight? I think you know what the solution is right.

If this is true then you have your motivation. Write it down - stick it on the fridge.

No it isn't - just because it's great tasting food or an enjoyable social event doesn't mean you have to overeat either to enjoy the food or enjoy the social side of the event. Let's face it - grilled meat and salad doesn't sound like big a problem to fit into a diet!
Eat lighter the rest of the day, have a little of what you like rather than a lot (that's not uncommon for foodies), eat lower the rest of the week to create a higher allowance for weekends.... There's loads of options.

A kick start isn't required and can be really counter-productive to seek a short term solution to a long term problem. A great way to kill motivation is to make the process harder than it needs to be.
Just make a start with a sustainable deficit that allows you to enjoy your normal life and the foods you enjoy - the passage of time will take care of the rest.
