Was wondering say I make a soup in the slow cooker how would I figure out how many calories are in the one bowl I would eat that day?

I am not a pro at this but if I was working the math, I would transfer the soup to another container and measure out the number of total cups. I would establish whether my serving size would be one or two cups and add up all the calories for the ingredients and divide it out. If I was working smarter and not harder I would work from an existing recipe I could trust and measure out the servings based on calories per serving. You have just inspired me to make a veggie soup in my slow cooker - thanks!1

I use the recipe builder then weigh it and set a serving as 1g and so if what i had weighed 150g i log 150 servings. My scale weighs up to 11 pounds so i just weigh the whole pot and subtract the weight of the dish.2

Yes I will make it and weight every thing that goes in it. Also where do I find the recipe builder?

under food>recipes> you can either import a recipe from a website or choose enter manually. Just type in your ingredients and amounts and hit match ingredients. I choose a random number of servings til i know what it will weigh when finished. Make sure to triple check the matches it comes up with that they are correct you get some weird things sometimes. when you are satisfied that everything is correct save it. Find it under your recipe tab later and you can edit it when needed.2
