Books/articles on recomping?

I posted a similar thread in gaining weight, but it seems this may be a better place for it.
After years of losing weight (meanwhile having and feeding babies), I'm ready to be done with weight loss.
Are there any books or other references you would recommend for someone looking to recomp what they have? I'm not in a huge rush, and I'm not expecting miracles. I just want to make gradual progress and feel stronger over time.
Thank you in advance for any direction you can give me!

A long read but a good read...

Also worth a read... The part about the "Gender Specific Psychological Effects Of Bulking" is worth considering.

Personally I just keep it very simple, I eat at or around maintenance calories but without food logging/calorie counting and train hard towards my fitness and strength goals.
I don't have any specific body composition goals - just performance goals and recomp is a nice bonus.

I don't think you really need a book to do this. As someone here on MFP often says, "lift heavy things and put them down. " Eat at maintenance and strength/resistance train. You will slowly improve what you have if you are consistent. Look at the recomp thread and "which lifting program is right for you" thread here on MFP. Recomp is in this forum.

The other one might be in gaining weight forum. (But you won't gain weight unless you eat over maintenance.)
