Why can't I find a gram measurment on any popcorn? The cup/oz size doesn't work right, because popcorn is so light and has weird shapes!
Even ONLINE it's always measured in size instead of weight!

Go to the NDL/FNIC (USDA) database https://ndb.nal.usda.gov/ndb/search/list and search popcorn. You'll find entries for weight sorted by type of preparation, e.g. "SNACKS, POPCORN, AIR-POPPED." https://ndb.nal.usda.gov/ndb/foods/show/6076

If you choose Standard Reference for in the select source box you get only the USDA entries. If you choose Branded Food Products you may find exactly the product you are looking for, e.g. "TRADER JOE'S, MICROWAVE POPCORN, BUTTER, UPC: 00929806" https://ndb.nal.usda.gov/ndb/foods/show/69650

You should be able to find entries matching these in the MFP database. If you can't, you can always edit an existing one to include the measurements from the USDA listing or add one if it's really not in the database.
