All Advice Greatly Appreciated

I managed to go from 130 to 175 in 1 year, 3 years ago. 6 months later I lost 15 lbs and have been at 160 ever since. I cant seem to gain anymore lean muscle and am starting to look "skinny fat" even though I train 5 times a week. I know something is off within my nutrition. I'm currently aiming for 2900 cals / day. Any advice would be greatly appreciated

I understand why you posted here, but you might have more success posting your query in the "Goal: Gaining Weight and Body Building" section of the forums.
I haven't checked out the stickied threads in that section, but you might also find some advice there. Good luck with your goals!1 -
Strength training....very minimal cardio0

I agree with the strength program. Find a good, proven progressive strength program (see link below). Follow it and eat all the food.

How tall are you? You look fairly young. Do you have a job? Is it an active job? 2900 calories doesn't sound like much for a young guy who works out.
Have you set your goals here to "Gain weight," and then eat that amount, adding more for exercise days? Track your food consistently and make sure you're hitting those goals.2 -
I definitely feel like it could be that I need more food. Then again i barely started tracking what i eat thru here. Thank You0

Simply if you're not gaining you're not eating enough. If you're not following the right training plan you'll spin your wheels as far as building lean mass. Definitely recommend heading over to the gaining sub forum and checking out the stickies.1
