I am naturally thin however i have the stamina and muscle strength of a 90 year old..... trying to tone and get stronger. I have been doing treadmill walking on a steep incline and that is going ok but I can only do about 30 minutes or so...need weight and smith/cable crossover advice on how to get stronger and any advice on how to build stamina. I work in a sedentary job so even stuff i can do at work without looking to cray in front of employees would be helpful too. THANK YOU IN ADVANCE FOR ALL YOUR ADVICE

I have no upper body strength at all. Have you tried the elliptical? I'm a treadmill walker who switched to the elliptical when I found it built up my strength and stamina. There are different kinds of ellipticals, so if you use a gym try them out to see which one you prefer. I started at 5 minutes with level 2 and worked up from there. You could start with 5 minutes at level 1 if you want and go as fast or as slow as you want.

30 minutes on an incline isn't too bad. You can gradually increase your speed and distance over time. Do you have access to free weights or machines? I like stronglifts 5x5 for free weights because it is so simple and straight forward.

What to do you enjoy doing? Since your goals are generic and I am assuming long term (you do not want to increase stamina for a year and then get back to where you were in the beginning for example), I would suggest you focus on finding out some activity you like and can fit to your weekly routine, or it will be impossible to commit to it in the long term.
Several sports and activities will work for your goals, so start by figuring out what sounds interesting and doable:
walking, running, swimming, cycling, dancing, weight lifting, pilates, yoga, joining a gym, working out at home, trying a class, a team sport, martial arts ?
