Ultimate goal - 135 & more muscle
Weight 2/21/15 - 218.2
Goal for #15 (my first round) - 150
Goal for 2018 - 135
8/31 - 151.8
9/1 - 151 Got my walk and stretching in.
9/2 - 150.8
Forest fires in the mountains have laid a thick blanket of smoke over us, and the temp is going to the high 90s-100 today through Tues., so I won't be walking outdoors. Stretching & weights, and maybe some jumping jacks.
9/3 - 150.8
Went out to eat yesterday, so I'm not surprised - just happy I didn't gain water weight. The smoke is terrible today, so no outdoor acidity, and I don't plan to do anything other than stretching indoors - we don't have ac and can smell smoke even with the windows closed.
9/4 - 151
Who knows?
9/5 - 152.2
This isn't fat - I went on a bit of a binge last night, so more sodium (and food) than usual. I'll not binge today :-)
9/6 - 152
A bit discouraging, but considering that our terrible air quality the past week (ranging from "Unhealthy" to "Hazardous") has kept me from my normal 60-120 minutes of walking every day, I guess holding steady isn't a bad thing. I'm averaging 1750 calories/day and really don't want to go much lower (and get hangry!), so I'll just ride it out. We may get a little rain this afternoon, which may settle some of the smoke for a while. We need a few days of rain to put out the fires. So sad for Oregon - sort of puts a few ounces or pounds in perspective.
9/7 - 151.8
Full circle! The air is a bit better today and I hope to get a little walking in. I've gone over my calorie goal several times this week - all good, healthful food, but a bit more than I intended. Still, I think that once the air clears and I get back to regular walking, I should lose. Not gaining is a good thing!
9/8 - 151.8
The smoke is coming back, but I got a nice 5-miles walk in this morning while the air was clear from last night's rain. Interested to see that my weight has come back down despite my calories being ~100 higher that planned per day. I write mysteries, but those plot lines pale compared to the mysteries of losing weight!

Clean eating, intense workouts (5 required weekly), no alcohol and weekly weigh ins along with personal counseling. The reason I’m explaining this is that they do not want participants weighing at home, only at the weekly weigh ins on their equipment. I have learned a bunch about my body doing this and logging it and feel like I can be in control when I do it. But I’m going to follow the guidelines of the challenge and not do daily weigh ins for the six weeks. I’ll still be logging and doing my weekly check ins on the app! And I might even check in with this challenge group because I like it so much.
@shnookie70 I look forward to hearing how your 6 weeks go, I hope you get the results you are looking for, as said above check in and let us all know how you are doing and good luck5 -
Yay! Ready for my third round with this glorious group!
Round 15:
SW: 165.6
GW: 164.2
Round 13: SW 167.6, EW 166.4 (-1.2 lb), LW 165.4, HW 168.4, AVG 167.4
Round 14: SW 166.4, EW 165.6 (-0.8 lb),
LW 165.6, HW 167.2, AVG 166.2
Day/Weight/Comment
8/31: 165.8 Normal fluctuation. Did not want to weigh today - late night snack attack. Somehow thought a dinner of carrots and hummus would be enough. Wrong! Lesson learned.
9/01: 165.2 New 2-year low! Will not overdo it this holiday weekend!
9/02: 164.6 Nice! 10-day average is now under 166. Yay!
9/03: 164.4 Note to self: This is NOT a free pass to overindulge at tomorrow's BBQ. Me.
9/04: 163.6 Fourth consecutive day of loss. Really liking this trend! Been doing less cardio and more strength exercises.
9/05: 163.8 Normal fluctuation. Still under goal for this round and seventh day out of the 166's. Yay!
9/06: 164.2 Ignoring this one as I weighed much earlier than usual. Plus only got a couple hours of sleep so my little organs didn't get time to do their jobs. Let's see what tomorrow brings!
9/07: 164.0 Under round goal weight, so I'll take it. 10-day average is now under 165. Yay!
9/08: 164.4 Day 7 out of 165s. Woot-woot! Slightly disappointed the 163s didn't stick around for my Friday team challenge weigh-in, but glad to have seen them this week nonetheless.

@NormaV14 And where are you? I have family and friends scattered all over the state. 7 years living in Palm Beach county growing up gave me respect for hurricanes!
@rtls I used to treat myself to a fat free sugar free Starbucks periodically when doing Weight Watchers. Just don't do it daily AND get the smallest size. Their website has/had a thing where you could customize your beverage and get accurate nutritional info.
I am out in the country, between Clermont and Leesburg. Lake County is NW of Orlando. We are in the hot zone today. Hopefully this track will shift again.....3 -
Round 11 ended at 263
Round 14 ended at 258.4
Original start weight 267
Current weight 258.4
Ultimate goal weight 160
Day/Weight/Comment
8/31 258.8 - ate a little too many carbs yesterday i think
9/01 258.4 - not much to say, just doing all the stuff i need to do
9/02 258.6 - got fast food for dinner last night. to be honest, the fries were awesome tasting (but potatoes are always awesome in my book), but nothing else was really. didn't taste that good, and i didn't feel full or satisfied at all. as i eat better, i can literally feel that all that fast food stuff is just empty calories. i also didn't walk at all yesterday, but sometimes, i need the extra sleep. got the family some bowling balls, going to try to start adding in some weekend bowling for a little exercise.
9/03 258.4 - saturday is my "free" day so i am glad there is still a downward trend.
9/04
9/05
9/06
9/07 258.2 no idea, about the rest of the week, been dealing with the impending hurricane. at least it is still kinda down, but a lot of stress eating this weeks, plus not getting the time to make healthy stuff for dinner or lunch. ugh
9/08 dunno. didnt weight myself this morning, had to get into work to clean up some stuff before getting everything boarded up.

Weight - 106.5kg / 233lbs
Current Weight - 103.2kg /227.5lbs
Goal Weight - 80kg /175lbs
I would love to lose 2kg (4lb) or close to it.
Day/Weight/Comment
8/31 - 227.5
9/01 - 226.6 im actually really happy with this. 2 days super clean eating and no exercise those days either.
9/02 - 227.0 hmmm so this is either from my breakfast i went overboard on for fathers day or the fact my monthly has arrived. I havent been tracking long enough yet to know if this makes a difference on the scales but we will see.
9/03 - 225.9
9/04 - 225.3 Very happy with this. 80% clean eating yesterday i did treat myself to 2 cookies.
9/05 - 224.4 again no exercise but I am sticking to my calories. Yah very happy!!
9/06 - 224.2
9/07 - 223.9 im surprised I still had a loss. overall I ate a lot of crap yesterday but wasn't too far over calorie goal.

9/8-140.6lbs. That's better. But I didn't do much at all yesterday due to headache. By the time I started feeling better, I decided to drink the rest of my calories. Ugh.
Ok, I know we aren't supposed to do this, but I weighed myself again when I woke up from my long nap ( I work tonight). But anyway...I'm 139.6 lbs! I hit my goal! Yes! I end up weighing my self all different times because of my crazy work schedule,

Currently doing 5:2
R13 SW - 71.2kg (157)
R14 SW - 71.5kg (157.6)
R15 SW - 72.2kg (159.2)
It looks like I’ve gone up since starting this challenge but last round I reached my goal of 69 something however timing was bad and I had travel for work which included a lot of functions and drinking so I’m confident this ‘gain’ will come down this round after I get back into 5:2.
R15 Goal - 69kg something (152.2 - 154.1)
8/31 - 72.2kg (159.2) - a lot is water weight so trying not to stress. No exercise and have had a big couple of days of eating out and drinking due to work trip.
9/01 - 71.5kg (157.6)
9/02 - 72.2kg (159.2) - pizza last night
9/03 - 72.9kg (160.7)
9/04 - 72.8kg (160.5)
9/05 - 71.5kg (157.6) - work travel has really played havoc with me this week. Need to get back to the 60s quickly to feel better about myself.
9/06 - 71.3kg (157.2)
9/07 - 70.9kg (156.3) - don’t think I’m going to make my goal. Friday dinner is always out
9/08 - 72.1kg (159) - can’t win at the moment, just one of those things
9/09 - 72kg (158.7) - didn’t end this round that well and next round will be similar as my husband comes ‘home’ for a visit and there will be lots of wine before we head to Bali for a week

@missionhercules I think it is a personal choice. It can be hard seeing it bounce up and down. This is just my second round participating, but I am starting to see a pattern to my weight loss that otherwise I would have never seen. I also find it helps me to stay accountable by sharing daily.5 -
I lost motivation last round and got discouraged with not much changing. Wiping the slate clean and starting again with this challenge (although I'm a day late!)
Start weight for Round 15: 155.2
Goal Weight for Round 15: 154
Ultimate goal weight: Somewhere around 125
8/31: Didn't weigh in (started this challenge a day late)
9/1: 155.2
9/2: 153.2 This was a whoosh after TOM. Lets hope it stays
9/3: 154.2 Not bad. Ate a little over today, but I really enjoyed my day at the lake.
9/4: 153.4 Hope this trend continues
9/5: 153.6 I'll take that. I'd like to keep my number below 154 for this round.
9/6: 152.6 I wasn't expecting that at all. I even had ice cream after dinner last night
9/7: 152.0 Woohoo! The real trick is keeping the lower number as I head into the weekend
9/8: 152.8 Works for me!

GW 145
Aim: To never rise above 195 ever again!!!
Short-Term Goal weight: To be 188.0 by Oct 19th. (A special day).
R14 (1st round for me) lost 3lbs
8/21 - 196.4
8/22 - 197
8/23 - 195.8
8/24 - 198.2
8/25 - 195.4
8/26 - 193.8
8/27 - 193.8
8/28 - 192.6
8/29 - 192.8
8/30 - 193.4
I plan to do the same for this round. Goal Weight: 190.4
Day/Weight/Comment
8/31 - 193 I pay dearly for cheat days. Even if I don't do too badly, I'm bloated for 2-3 days. I'm so sad that I'm not likely to see the number I wanted for my Birthday because of 1 weak moment. But I'll keep being good and see what happens. At least I'm not too far off my goal for Sept.
9/01 - 191.8 I'm ecstatic! (This was recorded this morning on my mom's scale which is more accurate than mine and it has made my day!!!)
9/02 - 193.6 I should have known this was coming. I was WAY over my calories yesterday because my friends all took me out to celebrate my Birthday. I had a shwarma plate (spicy meat with loads of rice and sauce etc) for the first time and ice cream for dessert. That would have been bad enough but THEN I ate fries for dinner with my husband. So I'm bloated and feeling gross this morning. I won't be able to weigh for the next 2 days due to the fact that I'm away. So I'm hoping to be back to my low number by then!
9/03 - No Scale Did ok with my calorie to exercise ratio yesterday. Ate way too many carbs though.
9/04 - No Scale Completely went WILD like over 4000 cals wild yesterday. I'm expecting to pay for that when I get back home.
9/05 - No Scale Completely went wild again, but a little less so, I was only about 2000 over my limit because I shared EVERYTHING I ate yesterday, so my portions stayed small. Tomorrow will be the BIG reveal... I'm trying to be good today to flush a bit of water out of my system before then. (TOM is still visiting as well, so that doesn't help)
9/06 - 195.4 I know that about 2 Lbs of this is water weight from TOM and all of my cheating from the past 3 days, but I also calculate that about 2 Lbs of it is real weight that I've gained back. I'm working really hard today to NOT make the same mistakes I made yesterday (snacking on sugary things). I'm drinking water and avoiding snacking. I want to at least see the 193 again before this round is over!!!
9/07 - 194.6 Lost a bit of the water-weight (Yay!). I'll try to keep this trend up!
9/08 - 194.0 Headed in the right direction. Leaving on Vacation today. I will have no scale tomorrow. I'm going to assume that this round is a wash and try again for the next round! I know I will need to be very mindful of how much I eat and the quality of food i'm eating while on vacation. It will be a real challenge because I LOVE my food, but I am confident I can do it!
9/09 - No Scale4 -
R14 SW-160.38
Current weight-158.4
10 Day Goal: Want to get into 157's.
Day/Weight/Comment
8/31- 158.4 Still holding steady here. I am beyond sick right now, with no actual care what I eat.
9/01- 158.14 This is probably from being sick not actual loss.
9/02- 157.3 Again due to illness not actual loss.
9/03- 156.86 Feeling better today, but still a bit weak. I expect to see a rise in my weight over the next few days now that I'll be eating regularly.
9/04- 157.08 I expected some gain, so I'm fine with this. Hopefully it won't go up much more. I've been super busy but sticking to my calories.
9/05- 156.42 I wasn't expecting this number and think it might just be a fluke. lol Today was a good day for me. I managed to walk a mile, which I haven't done in a very long time.
9/06- 156.86 I was hungry all day today, but I managed to limit my snacks. Another mile complete.
9/07-156.86 So I had a cry today when I realized everyone got a yummy Starbucks except me. Then husband and I got into an argument because I don't want to go out to eat. I see no point in going to a restaurant when I can't order what I actually want to eat. So mentally not having a great day. Maintaining calories.
9/08- 155.76 After yesterday, I decided I needed a cheat day, or rather meal. The food was decadent and worth any small setback that may come because of it. I guesstimate I went over my calories by about 250. (probably around maintenance) Tomorrow I'm back on track determined to lose this weight.

@quiltingjaine I just try to stay under 110-150 carbs and keep my protein intake higher. I don't crave as many sweets or get as hungry when I do this. It's not full-on keto, that low of carbs definitely doesn't agree with me. I need to have a moderate amount to keep my energy up. Thanks for your comment!5

9/03 178.5 Expected to gain a little. Went to a church cookout last night and ate lots of yummy food.
9/04 181.0 grrr...whenever I overeat one day I can't seem to get back onboard the next day or two.
9/05 182.0 :-( I'm so bloated I look 7 months pregnant! I exercised hard yesterday but didn't drink all my water and ate Mexican food for dinner. I know I haven't gained 5 lbs in 3 days but this is depressing.
9/06 178.0 Better.

Main target this round (and most likely the next round) is to lose the weight I gained over the holidays...
8/31: 65.9kg - same as yesterday
9/01: 65.5kg - in a good flow, accurate logging and firmly back in the (spinning) saddle
9/02: 65.3kg - can't wait to see the back of 65kg again
9/03: 64.8kg - wow, super happy with this, looks like I'm dropping it as quick as I put it on
9/04: 64.7kg - struggled yesterday, but determined to keep this up
9/05: 64.7kg - same as yesterday, which is fine
9/06: 64.7kg - patience patience patience...
9/07: 64.3kg - that's better!
9/08: 64.3kg - same as yesterday, hoping for a woosh to finish this round tomorrow
9/09: 64.6kg - trying to be rational about this but I'm so disappointed
Total loss this round: 1.3kg.4 -

Round 15 I would like to be in the 180s. I realize that eliminating the water pill from my medications, signalling better health, will probably usher in a water weight gain as my body gets used to normalcy again. I hope I deal with it gracefully... Welcome Back Friends!!
8/31 - 191.6 Well I knew it was coming, the weight gain from eliminating the water pill. I'm on a liquid diet from oral surgery, stacked 2 cord of wood yesterday and came in with a significant calorie deficit so this is definitely fluid in some capacity.
9/01 - 192.4 Day 3 of liquid diet, I seem to be salt and carb loading. Today I can start soft foods for two weeks, at least I have more choices. When it's all over I'll have a brilliant smile, it won't erase the memories but it will erase the daily reminder of a time I would rather forget. On a better note, my bp without the water pill is still running around 110/70 and I see the Dr in 6 weeks, hopefully I'll be in a downward trend by then and he can eliminate more meds. Sorry for the grind guys... feeling the stress of the scale going up when I'm on point.
9/02 - 191.8 Went over on calories but still under maintenance, pretty sure that bottle of wine isn't included in a liquid diet. Crawled out of bed at 11:30 pm and staggered around the block in my pajamas because I was at 8900 steps, and I didn't want to break my 10000 step streak. Not sure if my loss is dehydration or that my fluids have finally levelled out.
9/03 - 194 I have no words
9/04 - 192.4 okay better..
9/05 - 190 This morning this happened, I really don't know if it's real or not.
9/06 - 188.8 Yup, it was real! Hooray for wooshes!
9/07 - 188.8 Wow, truly in the 180's... I took out my fall clothes and they are all hanging off me, sucks that I have to go shopping for new clothes
9/08 - 188.8 I like this number but not that much!
9/09 - 189 that's a 1.6 pound loss this round! Considering the rollercoaster ride I was on this is awesome!
See you in round 16!9 -
I know those two 195 weights were flukes but I am chasing them anyway!!
SW, 212 (highest recorded weight) I've no idea what my highest weight was!
R09, SW 203.4 - mean weight - 201.4
R10, SW 200.4 - mean weight - 201.1
R11, SW 200.6 - mean weight - 200.2
R12, SW 199.4 - mean weight - 197.7
R13, SW 195.4 - mean weight - 198.4
R14, SW 195.0 - mean weight - 197.2
R15, SW 197.2 -
goal for R13 R14 R15 to get under and make being under 196lbs permanent
so it seems that getting under 196 (14 stone) is proving just as difficult at getting out of the 200's was!!
3rd round lucky!!!
UGW 140
30/8 - 197.2 - pulled a muscle or strained something anyway (really not sure how or what I have done but its painful and I am struggling to even walk or get a decent nights sleep, drank my water and stayed under my calories, due to being un-able to exercise I think the calories are even more important
31/8 - 198.8 - back in pain all day so I kept the calories low, its really all I can do at the moment!
01/9 - 197 - back in a lot of pain
02/9 - 198.4 - 6000 steps (pushing myself to see if it will help my back)
03/9 - 198.4 - OK so that didn't help!! now the pain has spread into my legs also -- rest it has to be!!
04/9 - 198.6 - I've decided to drop my calories for the next week, 1300 sounds fair, I am basically sedentary at the moment.
05/9 - 199.4 - not surprised, I'm not moving!! looks like this round is a wash out - went to bed earlier as I seem to be mostly pain free there.
06/9 - 198 - I managed a slow slow shuffle when at the dentist today, I couldn't sit in the waiting room chair due to the pain so I shuffled up and down outside till it was my turn. about 20 mins. cals low.
07/9 - 196.6 - 1/4 mile walking in circles at a snails pace cals low drank water.
08/9 - 197 - so happy to be getting further away from the 200's again, I feared jumping back into them.
09/9 - 197 - well this could have been so much worse, I have to celebrate finishing 0.2lbs lower than I started, even with my back / leg pain
However my average weight between R14 and R15 has gone up .. basically due to back and leg pain causing the water weight and the gain in the middle of the 10 days ... I'm thinakful I did not jump up over the 200 mark again .. it took so much effort to get under that .. !!!
I have a docs appointment set for Thursday so I will hopefully be able to find what the issue is and get it sorted.
onto R16 and hoping we all have a great round7
