Hello, my name is Kate. And I just kinda wanted to make a post of cellulite which is basically the worst nightmare of every person in the fitness community. I am 28 years old 5'6. My weight fluctuates anywhere between 115 and 118 and I have about 14% body fat. I lift 3-4 days a week with cardio at the end.... and I have cellulite on my glutes. I have trained and trained and pushed myself harder than I have for anything else to get the "squat *kitten*" and now I have cellulite. It felt horrible at first, but then I did research and realized it wasn't labeling me as unhealthy or unfit or unattractive so I just wanted to reach out to anyone who is also lean and has cellulite so they know they aren't alone. And if anyone has suggestions please feel free to let me know. Thanks!

I am fairly lean and have a pretty decent muscle base and I have it too. It's not great and as much as I try not to care, it bothers me. However it does not define how I feel about myself or my progress.

It is pretty common even with really fit women. Building more muscle and weight training has helped, but it always sticks around. With your stats I would work on either bulking to put on muscle or at least maintaining to recomp. It may help. But in the end it is typically genetic so you may have to accept it.

As previously said, basically it is genetic. And losing weight and body re-composition can actually easily make it look worse than before or make one that was more hidden visible. I had some on the inside of my thighs, barely visible for most other people in most situations, but now that my thighs seem to have gotten thinner (my mum says so, I also think it looks like it, but for some reason, the measuring band does not agree?) it is creeping more to the front. 30 years old, having it since I was 25, currently around 111 lbs.
