Don't get discouraged

I have been back at the gym only for 5 months this year , I'm 50 years old but since April I have loss 23 pounds. Now it seems no sudden changes. But I'm changing my workout routine and it seems to be helping. I just want to encourage you , don't get frustrated and discouraged. Time does play a big part to change. Keep going and you will eventually see the change you been wanting.

Thanks for the encouragement, John. I'm 49, working my way back to the gym (I go about 3 days a week to ride the bike for now). In January or February, I'm joining a CrossFit gym and going to do that 4-5 times a week (I have to wait until then because of financial matters). Thanks for inviting me to your thread!4

Thanks for the invite. Encouragement and not losing sight of the ultimate goal is something I def need. For the past three weeks I’ve been getting serious about my diet again and getting back into the gym. I tend to have an all or nothing mentality (which is horrible but hard to change) so any stumbles create problems, but thanks for the reminder that slow and steady wins the race!1
