I need to lose 10 more kg. I have lost 24kg so far. Was a size 16 now 12. Want to be size 10. I have very heavy legs. I hate cardio. So far I have been going to the gym 4 times a week. I try to do 15 - 30 mins of weight training - different body part each time. The rest of the time I attend classes which generally comprise of HIIT or circuits. Burpees, mountain climbers, jump squats, plank, crunches, push ups, lunges etc - 30 mins in total. I want to lose weight from my legs. I have hit a plateau for the last 2 weeks. Any advice on my work out plan would help. Thanks

you lose weight through a calorie deficit - not a certain workout plan. are you eating at a calorie deficit? weighing all your food?

Yes I am having around 1300 calories a day, weighing my food. Having lots of veggies, protein, fibre and some good carbs.

Losing weight will come from a calorie deficit, if you aren't losing you are eating more than you are burning.

Unfortunately you cannot spot reduce fat, it will come off where it comes off, for some the legs can be the last place. Definitely continue to weight train to maintain the muscle there, but are you following a program? I would recommend you follow a progressive lifting program for optimal results.

I don't have a lifting programme as such. Can you suggest one?

Also, 2 weeks isn't really a plateau. It's perfectly normal to stall for a week or two every once in awhile. If you aren't already, start using a food scale as much as possible, and double check that the entries you are using in the database are accurate, to tighten up your logging to be safe as well. :drinker:
