I've been using MFP for one month now after years of yo-yo dieting, WW (where I never understood what made up a magical "point"), and getting frustrated! I committed to one month of MFP and the simple CICO, AND it worked! I have never felt so in control of the food choices I make! Thank you MFP and for this community forum!

Congratulations!
MFP also helped me break the yo-yo dieting cycle. I've been maintaining for almost two years now.3 -
Woo hoo, congratulations! I had a similar "eureka!" moment when all the numbers came together and I started losing weight. And I completely get the sense of control, too - it feels amazing.2

Ha!
A superfit coworker said the same thing. I looked at him and thought "I'm going to prove you wrong" and 49lbs later, I'm eating humble pie because he wasn't.7 -
My problem has been that twice in the past when I reached goal weight I gradually stopped logging, and gradually regained my weight. This time around its "logging for life" for me!9
