80 lbs down! Before and after pic. Over half way to goal

80 lbs down! Eating real clean food and exercising. Feeling so great! Maybe 60-80 more to go. We will see how I feel when I get there. Started at 310, now at 230. Goal weight is 150-170 depending on how much muscle I gain from crossfit. [post edited by MFP mods].

A lot had happened in my life. The ending of a horrible relationship, my grandpa and aunt passing away. I went into a depression for a while. I went to the doctor on January 10th of this year and when I got on the scale it said 310 lbs. I couldn't believe my eyes, I was over 300. I decided there and then that it was time to change my life and live healthy. Losing family members I think has helped me stay on track. We've all got this one life and you have to take care of it. You are what you eat, you can feed disease or fight it. So now I'm choosing to love myself and love my life and be as healthy and fit as possible.7 -
That is amazing. You were close to my starting weight and your goal weight is also close to mine. I want to join crossfit as a reward when I hit 230. You're such an inspiration, I hope to look as great at you!1

I joined at 270! You don't have to wait to join if you don't want to. All the workouts can be scaled and the community is so positive and supportive. I know crossfit has helped me stay on track as well because I'm wanting to eat to nourish and fuel my body for my workouts. Congrats on deciding to change your life! Keep up the good work!1 -
