Baby Dead Weight

It's been sixteen months since the baby was born and I've lost a pound a month with thirty more to lose. That's progress! Why does it not feel that way?
I used to love getting dressed. Now, I don't fit, I don't want to draw attention to myself, I don't have money to do anything about it, and it's been forever.
I should be happy for my mom friends. I've seen them grow, have babies, and shrink...in a matter of months (like four). Why have they won the genetic lottery? I have a multitude of post-partum health issues. While I used to be an athlete, I hurt everywhere, always, and no one seems to know why. Running was a passion, now it's a pain (literally).
I moved across the country and have used all my confidence to make friends as plus-size me. I get the feeling people make assumptions about who I am and put me in a box that is limiting. "Oh, Jerry doesn't play soccer." Innocent really, but suddenly the things I loved, that defined me, are off limits. And it's heart breaking to wake up and hear myself say the same things.
No one knows they are working against me. Around "friends" I feel friendless, because, no one really knows me. I'm the chubby one and it's so discouraging.

I understand & am right with you! People do judge but don't let that define you! You created life that is wonderful! You sound like you have your head on straight but need some compassion, for yourself! Maybe join weight watchers, there is a lot of support there!0

You've been on mfp for awhile. Are you counting calories? Logging food? Weighing food and measuring liquids? If you are and still can't lose weight in a calorie deficit, then that's very odd unless you have a medical condition.
Forget about exercising for now and get control of your life back (the old saying that losing weight starts in the kitchen). Count and log- every bite. Once you drop some weight your gradual exercising might become easier. Read the success story thread here in the Community. It's very motivating.0 -
Is there mum and bubs exercise groups? We have them here, full of mums having the same issues with weight loss after pregnancy the exercises are designed so you can bring your child along.
I fully understand where you are, I was 100kg at the end of my pregnancy, only now, over 3 years later am I making some serious progress again.0
