Is it possible to go too mush too fast eating right. I went from pop, chips, takeout and everything bad to meat rice veggies and oatmeal. Today omg my head is pounding and feels like it weighs 100 pounds. I know there is a thing call detoxing is this a possibility.

you are probably just low on sodium since you have gone from what sounds like a high salt diet to a nearly no salt diet - you need salt, go have some4

When you cut back on pop did you substitute any other caffeinated drinks? Sounds like a caffeine headache to me. Might be worth drinking some coffee or a diet soda or something to see if that helps.8

Yes, it's possible to switch your diet too quickly. But if you are eating sufficient calories the problem with your head could be an intolerance to something new you are eating. Usually changes in diet affect your gut more than your head, but your body may need to time to adjust to any big change.4

I never thought of that. But yes I went from my guess 5000mg+ to last 2 days i think 1500mg combined.0

I never tracked my calories. I just joined today. But if i had to guess i would say 1400 a day. I tried to lose weight before and found it hard at first to get the amount of calories i need without spne sort of junk food.0 -

Caffeine addiction is real and it gives you killer headaches when you cut cold turkey if you were drinking enough pop for it to be a problem. You can either wait it out for a few more days and the headaches should go away or you can cut back a little at a time.4 -

It could be that you are hungry, dehydrated, lacking sodium, experiencing caffeine withdrawal - but detoxing is not a thing, so at least, it's not that.
But what you are asking, yes, sort of, but not the way you think. We humans can thrive on a wide range of diets, but we need variety. A restricted diet is not eating right. And small amounts of "junk" is not unhealthy. We also need to feel safe, and believe that we have a choice. Deeming everything you like, bad, is not going to help you, it will intensify cravings for it. Unless you enjoy your new diet, deeply, you will miss the old diet, and go back to it at the very first obstacle. Finding a middle ground will serve you well, I think.2 -
I agree with the others- you probably need salt and caffeine.1
