Measurements When Strength Training

I am interested to see how measurements, arm, thigh, waist, etc. change over time when weightlifting without dieting and when weightlifting with dieting.

I am a 5'8" woman and around 148 lbs. I assume if I lose say .5 to 1 lb a week while lifting I'd expect to see all my measurements get smaller even if I was gaining some muscle? When would you expect to start seeing larger measurements? At some % body fat?

Any data that would give me an idea what to expect would be great!

Hey a saw no one had commented on your post so thought I would at least give you something. I don't have any firm numbers to give you but a couple of points to consider. With strength training while losing weight you can expect your measurements to decrease even as you gain muscle. A pound of muscle takes up about a third of the space as a pound of fat. In general from what I have seen with women they do not appear to start looking larger until they start doing a lot of strength training/power lifting or get to a lower body fat percentage of under 15 percent or so. Not sure if this helps, but I thought you should have some feedback to your questions.
