What to eat when you're sick

I'm very sick in bed after having flown in yesterday. I'm at my aunt's house and all she has is bananas, rotisserie chicken and power crunch bars, so I've just been feasting on that. I usually do intermittent fasting, so I was supposed to stop 15 minutes ago, but I haven't even eaten 1,000 kcal... Will all this hurt my progress?

When you are sick you should focus on feeling better. Intermittent fasting is just one method to help control calorie intake, so if you still need to eat more to get an appropriate amount of calories in you need to keep eating. Starving yourself is definitely not going to help you feel better.

Don't worry about macros, micros or calories when you're sick. Focus on your body and getting better. Illness is a very legitimate reason to through every dietary and workout idea out the window, your body is not functioning correctly because it's fighting an illness - get better then get back on plan.
